Video & Music Production

I wrote and recorded my first song when I was 16-years-old. I started filming and editing videos soon thereafter. None of those early creations found traction with audiences (because they were terrible). But I didn't let that stop me.

Decades later, I'm still writing and recording music and telling stories through video. The vast and dvierse audiences they have found generally describe them as "good enough."

Video Production/Editing

I've worked with many nonprofits (and even for-profits to help tell their stories, grow their support base, and help their services stand out in the noisy world of social media.

This first example is from the video podcast, Big Heat Journey, that I got to do with child mental health expert, Taes Leavitt. She provided the footage and asked me to turn the whole thing into a captivating, compassionate video showcasing kids helping other kids with their mental health.

Music Production

Scratchworthy

Formed in 2002 with the release of our first album, Scratchworthy consists of singer/songwriter/pastor Scott Scruggs and myself, backed by some of the best musicians in the business (in other words, we'd suck without them).

Our sophomore album, Fortune Tellers All, is an acoustic-guitar driven pop collection of radio-ready hits influenced by bands like Vertical Horizon, The Dave Matthews Band, and Flytape.
